It's almost February so that can only mean one thing, Spring is on it's way! *Starts to sing 'Here comes the sun, do do do do' in head*
We don't know about you but we've had enough of this cold weather already here at KIWI and are looking forward to a bit of sunshine. After doing lots of research we are excited to let you in on some hot trends to look out for this Spring/Summer '15.
1. Nudes/Blush colours
It's very apparent that nude and blush colours are a hot colour this S/S. We think that's a fab thing as they are easy wear colours and they are nice and warm and natural.
2. Loads of Denim!
Forget double denim, this season is all about having as much denim on you as you can! Loads of celebrities love this look (including the one and only Kardashians) and if you get it right, it can look so cool!
3. Flares/Bootleg
We don't know about you but when we were younger, we here at KIWI can remember practically LIVING in bootleg jeans, and it really is true that fashion always comes back around as flared trousers and bootleg jeans are set to make a massive comeback this year. (We also love this Marilyn Monroe quote down below! Get it, 'cause bootleg trousers are tight at the top and loose at the bottom?Hehe)
4. Metallic Hair!
Now this trend is more specifically for the people who are more outgoing with their hair but we LOVE this future trend! After pastel coloured hair seemed to be the thing last year, this year it's all about the metallics. Whether it's a colour or just white/silver/grey, we think this trend is going to look amazingly cool!!
5. Blue Hues
We have seen a lot of blue hues/shades floating around that are due to come in this Spring/Summer and it was even featured in Vogue Magazine recently so if that doesn't say that it's sure to be a big trend then we don't know what does!
6. Pretty in Pastels
Okay so the final trend that we are 99.99999% sure is going to be HUGE this season is pretty pastel colours! You can never go wrong with a pretty pastel in the warmer weather and pastels are so versatile as you can mix and match different pastel colours together and it will still look fab! Pretty pastels are very popular among many fashion designers this season too including Versace.
So there are our top trends to look out for this Spring/Summer '15! What do you think about them? Are you loving them as much as us? We'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below :)
